This course allows participants to extend their knowledge of diamonds beyond the 4Cs, drawing on insights from the full spectrum of the diamond pipeline.
This course is designed for anyone working in the diamond or wider jewellery industry. It will help students gain enhanced expertise when discussing or selling these rare and precious gifts of nature.
The programme is delivered via a bespoke website, designed to provide a secure interactive learning experience. The course is mobile friendly to allow students to study wherever and whenever, they have internet connection.
The course is available in English, Simplified Chinese, French, Italian, Korean, Turkish and Thai.
Students have the flexibility to complete the programme at their own pace, over a 4-month period. There is approximately 24 hours' worth of study materials.

This course is a great next step for students who have successfully completed the Diamond Foundation Course online and now wish to gain practical experience of the 4Cs grading process. (Studying the DFC is not mandatory to attend the course).

Learn how to grade diamonds using the 4Cs - a part theory, part practical course.
This course is for students wishing to learn how to grade diamonds using the 4Cs to a professional standard.
The first part covers the science of diamonds and grading theory. Students access the learning via a bespoke website, designed to provide a secure interactive learning experience.
Each module is followed by an online test with a tutor available for additional support and guidance.
The second part is a 5-day intensive laboratory experience, where students are exposed to a high volume of diamonds giving them a chance to perfect grading skills. This ensures that core theoretical knowledge is backed up by fundamental hands-on experience.
This one day programme supports De Beers' efforts to enhance customer confidence throughout the trade. It is delivered by tutors from the De Beers Group Research Facility.
It focuses on understanding the detailed differences between natural diamonds and their synthetic counterparts.
This course is for anyone working in the industry who wishes to further develop their knowledge in this specialist field. It is particularly valuable for those who manage pipeline integrity processes within their companies.
